Tarina etenee parilla eri tasolla. Yhdellä vanha kotiopettajatar kertoo mitä ihmeellisintä tarinaa tytöstä, jota on aikoinaan opettanut. Toisella taas seurataan näiden nauhojen tarinaa. Ensin ne ovat haastattelijan omaisuutta ja sitten lähtevät kiertämään ensin keräilijälle ja sitten muualle. Kolmas taas on tytön, Helenin, kertomaa hänen ja hänen isoisänsä seikkailuista.
Tämä on kiinnostavaa, mutta vähän poukkoilee. Ja sitten se tuntuu vähän jäävän kesken…
Kuvitus on yksityiskohtaista ja tarkkaa. Ihmisten kasvoissa on jotain “kelmimäistä”. Värit kivat. Toteutus paikoitellen väkivaltaista.
