Nuori tyttö elää kohtalaisen kurjaa elämää. Koulussa kiusataan ja kotona äiti yrittää pitää täysihoitolaa, jotta tultaisiin edes jotenkuten toimeen. Lisäksi isoisä on vielä vakavasti sairas.
