Tässä mennään Erican nuoruuteen, aikaan jolloin hän ei vielä ollut ansainnut hampaitaan vaan treenasi Jessican alaisuudessa. Tosin vaikuttaa enemmän siltä, että Jessica ryyppää ja Erica hoitaa hommat. Kaksikko saa uuden tehtävän, joka taas vie heität Jessicalle ennestään tuttuun paikaan. Sellaiseen, jonne hän ei ilmeisesti olisi ollenkaan halunnut palata...

Hyvä tarina. Jännittävä ja kiinnostava. Vaihdot nykyisyyden ja menneen välillä toimivat. Jää todella jännään paikkaan!

Kuvitus on hyvää jälkeä. Ei herkille, sillä odotetusti on väkivaltainen.

Tämä oli minulle iloinen yllätys. Sarjakuvan kuvitus tuo mieleen monet piirretyt oudon mallisine päineen ja venytettyine raajoineen. Se ei ollut sellainen, joka olisi minua houkutellut. Lopulta kuvitus on varsin pieni “häiriötekijä”, sillä se on yllättävän sujuvaa ja vauhdikasta. Lisäksi värejä on käytetty oikein kivasti luomaan tunnelmaa. Ja oikeastaan tämä härö kuvitus sopii tähän sarjakuvaan erittäin hyvin!

Sarjakuvassa seurataan nuoria, jotka seikkailevat ja toimivat eräänlaisessa pelihallissa. Se on osa isompaa (joskin nyt aika autiota) viihdekeskusta. Päähenkilö Izzy on velho korjaamaan vanhoja pelikoneita ja eräs tällainen saakin aikaan kaaoksen, kun sen sisään sujautetaan kumman mallinen kolikko. Izzyn rinnalla taistelussa on hänen koulukaverinsa David, paikan työntekijä ja Izzyn ihailema tyttö.

Tarina on nopeatempoinen. Jokainen luku tuntuu omalta pieneltä tarinaltaan, joka on osa isompaa kokonaisuutta. Hahmot ovat vähän karikatyyrisiä, mutta toimivat oikein hyvin tässä huumoria, seikkailua ja yllätyksiä sisältävässä avauksessa. Sanoisin, että iskee oikein hyvin peleistä kiinnostuneisiin olivat ne sitten virtuaalisia tai liveä.

Nopeasti etenevä pienoisromaani/novelli, jossa kirjailija menee kahden ystävänsä kanssa huippuhienoon saarella olevaan loistohotelliin valmiiksi maksetulle lomalle. Kaikki vaikuttaa olevan täydellistä, mutta sitten alkaa tapahtua epäilyttäviä asioita...

Jokainen luku alkaa herkullisella ruokakuvauksella, jolle on myös valittu oma viini. Tarina pyörii muutenkin ruokien ja erikoisten aterioiden ympärillä.

Tämä nappasi mukaansa. Juoni toimii, vaikka siinä onkin muutamat vähän ennalta-arvattavat kohdat. Vastapainoksi taas osa tapahtumista yllättää oikeasti.

Projektini lukea Allisonin sarjakuvia etenee, mutta edelleen vähän takaperoisesti. Tämäkin nimittäin tuntuu siltä, että luen keskeltä sarjaa enkä tiedä kaikkea mitä pitäisi.

Tässä joukko koulukavereita "tutkii" juttuja. Ja pojilla ja tytöillä on selvästi jonkinlainen kilpailu menossa. Pojat tutkivat jalkapallostadioniin ja sen omistajaan liittyvää "kirousta" ja tytöt taas pääsevät vähän saman jutun jäljille auttaessaan vanhusta. Kokonaisuus on vähän sekava ja tapahtumat henkilöiden välillä vaihtuvat hyppien. Johtuu varmaan siitä, että alkuperäisesti tämä on julkaistu strippinä.

Kuvitus on vähän kulmikas ja karu.

Sarjakuva etenee nopeasti ja vähän hyppien. Tuntuu, kuin kyseessä olisi roolipelisessio, jossa joukkio kasataan yhteisen ongelman eteen ja sitten sitä ratkotaan. Toimintaa, taistelua, kapakka ja tietysti myös petos. Niin ja julma ja ilkeä pahis, jolla on suuria suunnitelmia.

Ihan kiva, joskin ehkä vähän hätäinen.

Kuvitus on mukava. Pidän erityisesti siitä, miten talviset maisemat on toteutettu. Väkivaltainen. Ei herkille.
