Hyvän fantasiasarjan päätösosa, joka ei aivan yllä koko sarjan tasolle.

Eldh on pelastettu ilkeiltä jumalilta, mutta muinaiset ongelmat jatkavat omaa tietään. Nyt sankareiden pitäisi pelastaa koko maailmankaikkeus ennen kuin se lakkaa olemasta. Ei mikään helppo tehtävä. Varsinkin, kun tällä kertaa Travis ja Grace voivat luottaa vain pieneen joukkoon ystäviä.

Viimeisen seikkailun sankareiksi eivät pääse kaikki tutut ystävät. Muutama kulunut vuosi on tuonut muutoksia heidän elämäntilanteisiinsa ja osa on muuttunut merkittävästi. Salaisuuksia paljastuu ja ystävysten väliset luottamukset punnitaan maailmassa, jossa kaikki taikuus on heikkenemässä kohti olematonta. Kehen voi luottaa ja kehen ei? Ovatko kaikki luottamuksen arvoisia? Entä miten Etsijöiden (Seekers) salaperäiset johtajat (Philosophers) liittyvät tähän kaikkeen?

Seikkailu on varsin vauhdikas, vaikkakin sen keskelle on isketty pitkä, pitkä, pitkä tarina. Tämä tarina selittää monia asioita Etsijöiden historiasta, mutta se oli minusta todella puuduttavaa luettavaa. Asiat olisi voinut selittää paljon nopeammin ja dynaamisemmin. Onneksi puudutuksen jälkeen päästiin nopeasti kunnolla vauhtiin ja kohti loppua, joka sekä yllätti että ihastutti. Pakko sanoa, että Eldhiä ja sen sankareita tulee ikävä.
