Trilogian kolmas osa saa jälleen uuden kertojan. Ja lukijalle paljastuu Mordecain äidin Ravenin tarina. Siinä vasta onkin nyyhkytarina kaikilla mausteilla. On tuhoa, vähän rakkautta, epätoivoa, pakomatka, ystäviä, selviytymistä... Hienoa kerrontaa. Lopussa päästään kiinni nykypäivään ja nähdään, mitä kaikkea Mordecaille onkaan tapahtunut hänen jäätyään vangiksi. Ja päästään käsiksi ihmisten epätoivoisiin tekoihin ja kieroihin juoniin...

Minut tarina pääsi parissa kohtaa yllättämään. Toki siinä on monia ennalta-arvattavia kohtia, mutta myös useita positiivisia yllätyksiä. Lopussa on jotain haikean kaunista.

Kuvitus ja niukat värit ovat edelleen mieleeni. Pidän kovasti tyylistä.
