Idea on kiinnostava. Kaukaisessa ajassa ja paikassa lähtee liikkeelle meteoriitti, joka suuntaa kohti Maata. Samoin syntyy ja kasvaa myös poika, jolla näyttäisi olevan mahdollisuus pelastaa ainakin osa ihmiskunnasta rakentamalla uusi tukikohta Kuuhun. Kaikki ei mene kuitenkaan suunnitellusti, joten lukija pääsee seuraamaan Maan viimeisiä kuukausia yhdessä tämän arkkitehdin kanssa.
Kuvitus ja tyyli ovat värikkäät ja jotenkin raadolliset. Ihmiset ja maisemat täynnä "ylimääräistä" viivaa. Tunnelma on läpeensä ahdistava. Kaikki on tukossa ja epätoivo välittyy läpi.
