Tämä albumi alkaa pienoistarinalla, jossa sotilas kertoo oman tarinansa. Tämä tarina pitää sisällään menetystä, toivoa, yhteenkuuluvuutta että myös kostonhimoa ja lopulta ymmärrystä. Se avaa hyvin sitä, millaista on menettää kaikki hetkessä.
Itse Mattyn tarina etenee myös. Mies koettaa juonia omiaan ja saavuttaa jotain. Mutta vähän näyttää ja vaikuttaa siltä, että suunnitelma on menossa pieleen... Että häntä yhä pelataan laudalla eikä hän itse pelaa. Mies joutuu monien valintojen eteen, eivätkä ne ole helppoja taikka välttämättä oikeitakaan.
Kuvitus on edelleen realistista ja hienoa. Tässä osassa aavistuksen tummempisävytteistä, mutta silti puhuttelevaa. Paikoitellen raaka ja verinen. Ei herkille.
