En nyt sanoisi, että kaikkien ihmisten tulisi lukea Suuria odotuksia. Sen perusidea tulisi ehkä kuitenkin tietää. Orpopoika, joka törmää rikolliseen hautausmaalla ja jolle tulevaisuus tuo eteen herrasmiehen kasvatuksen. Lisänä Pipin onneton rakastuminen Estellaan ja niin edelleen ja niin edelleen… Sanoisin, että tähän sarjakuvaan on jättimäisen kirjan perusideat koottu todella hyvin. Laiskan lukijan kannattaa tarttua tähän sarjakuvaan. Selviää huomattavasti helpommalla. Vaikkei sarjakuvan kuvitus olekaan sieltä kauneimmasta päästä. Minun makuuni se ainakin oli paikoitellen ruma ja jopa ahdistava.
