Erittäin ajankohtainen sarjakuva. Nuori amerikan afrikkalaisen näköinen Alfonso ammutaan ostoskeskuksessa. Ampuja on poliisi. Tästä alkaa monta tarinaa. Toisaalla Alfonso seuraa perheensä ja ystäviensä selviämistä tapauksesta. Toisaalla hän tarkkailee, kuinka hänet ampunut poliisi pärjää. Löytyy ihmisiä puolesta ja vastaan. Teos nostaa mielipiteitä esille. Pistää ajattelemaan ja puhumaan.
Minun makuuni sarjakuvan kuvitus on aavistuksen sekava. Paikoitellen “ruutujakoa” oli hankala seurata. Varsinkin kun tekstiä on melkoisen paljon. Joissain kohtaa tarina myös hyppelehtii jonkin verran.
