Albumissa on kolme tarinaa. Niistä ensimmäinen valottaa todella hyvin moniakin asioita Watchmenin taustalla. Useat asiat ovat huomattavasti selvempiä tämän jälkeen, sillä nyt Ozymandiaksen teot tekevät järkeä. Ne ymmärtää omalla tavallaan. Valitettavasti tämä osa on myös todella kuivaa luettavaa. Eikä sen kuvituskaan ole minun mieleeni.

Toinen tarina on kunnon merirosvo-/kauhuseikkailu. Siinä on monia käänteitä ja yllätyksiä. Lisäksi kuvitus on hyvää jälkeä. Sitä katselee oikein mielellään.

Kolmas tarina on aika mini verrattuna kahteen muuhun. Se on jotenkin hyvin "sarjakuvamainen" niin väritykseltään kuin juoneltaan. Jotain peri "amerikkalaista".
