Ison omenan alla on toinen mokoma. Maailma, jota asuttavat erilaiset taikovat ihmiset. On druideja, velhoja, velhottaria, noitia, woodoon harjoittajia... Mitä kaikkia heitä nyt onkaan. Ja he tekevät kauppaa ihmisten kanssa. Heillä on oma salainen yhteisönsä ja omat sääntönsä. Eikä sieltä ole helppoa lähteä...

Alison on kuitenkin koettanut. Hän on luonut uraa ihmisten maailmassa, mutta sitten hänet väkipakolla raahataan takaisin, sillä hänen perheensä on tehnyt jotain pahaa ja taikovien sääntöjen mukaan oman perheen pitää korjata asiat. Se ei olekaan helppoa, kun vastassa ovat omat (pakotetut) vanhemmat, ikivanha demoni ja aikalailla koko kaupungin poliisivoimat...

Kiintoisa tarina, kiintoisia hahmoja. Useimmilla tuntuu olevan taustavaikutteita ja piiloajatuksia. Heistä olisi mukava oppia lisää. Muuten tarina on vauhdikas, välillä vähän liiankin. Ei ole oikein tilaa hengittää. Väkivaltaa ja julmuuksia on aika paljon ja ne näkyvät myös kuvituksessa.

Tumma, julma ja kiehtova. Runberg ja Andolfo on oikein passeli yhdistelmä.
