12 albumi johdattelee uusille vesille. Mutta millaisille, se jää vielä paikoitellen epäselväksi. Vanhoissa kotimaissa nimittäin alkaa tapahtumaan, mutta hitaasti. Kun Adversaryn joukot ovat ilman johtajaa, ne ovat hämillään ja tavalliset asukkaat toimivat miten toimivat. Ja näin ollen vanhat voimat pääsevät liikkeelle… Tämä taas aiheuttaa melkoista onnettomuutta Fabletownissa kun asiat alkavat kirjaimellisesti hajoamaan käsiin.
