Ihmiskunta on onnistunut saamaan Maan asumiskelvottomaksi. Porukka asuu avaruusasemalla jossa valtaa pitää yksi yhtiö joka sanelee ihan kaiken. Ruoka ja vaatteet, kaikki maksetaan yhtiön kännyköillä ja kännyköitä yhtiö tietysti tuo markkinoille säännöllisesti. Osa porukasta haluaa kapinaa, osa on tyytyväisiä. Keskiössä ovat veljekset, joiden elämä alkaa vähitellen mennä sekaisin kun he oppivat enemmän ja enemmän yhteisön salaisuuksista.
