Renessanssiajasta ja italialaisista kaupungeista vaikutteita ottaneessa fiktiivisessä kaupungissa tapahtuu. Kaupunki on täynnä juoruja kruununperijästä. Lisäksi eräänlaisena "päivälehden" julkaisijana toimiva Maestra Aronne julkaisee aviisia, jossa kritisoidaan hallitsijan veljeä. Moniin isoihin ruutuihin/aukeamiin on myös piirretty nuorten kulkureittejä ja tomuun tuntuu aina jäävän melkoiset jalanjäljet. Lopulta kokonaisuus on kuitenkin jollainlailla silmää miellyttävä.
