Lazaruksessa ollaan alettu hyppimään vuosissa. Toisaalta se on ymmärrettävää, sillä tapahtumat kehittyvät hitaasti ja vaativat aikaa. Toisaalta taas tulee helposti sellainen tunne, että monia asioita jää selvittämättä. Ja hahmojen kehityksessä jää jälkeen. Minulla itselläni ainakin keski tovi tajuta Foreverin uusi lyhyt hiustyyli. Aluksi luulin häntä Marisoliksi…

Sota on jatkunut jo jonkin aikaa. Se repii liittoumia ja perheitä. Kaikki koettavat selviytyä tavalla tai toisella. Jokaisella on paineita. Toiset kestävät ne paremmin kuin toiset… Carlylen perheessä asiat eivät ole hyvin. Epäilyksiä on, vanhat kaunat kalvavat ja monia salaisuuksia on vielä olemassa. Kuinka ne tulevat vaikuttamaan perheen elämään kun selvästi alkaa näyttää siltä, että perheet patriarkalta on aika käymässä vähiin?

Pidän siitä, miten ja mihin suuntaan tarina on etenemässä. Kuvitus on hyvää ja vakaata jälkeä. Taistelua ja räjähdyksiä on tarjolla tälläkin kertaa, mutta ei aivan samanlaista teurastusta kuin sarjan edellisessä osassa. Sen sijaan muutamia järkyttäviä kohtia sarjakuvassa esiintyy nuoreen henkilöön kohdistuvan väkivallan muodossa. Tästä varoitus herkille.
