King osaa kyllä kirjoittaa lyhyitä tarinoita. Aina en näitä kaikkia kutsuisi novelleiksi taikka pienoisromaaneiksi. Mutta hyviä ne ovat silti. Kukin omalla tavallaan. Tästä kokoelmasta löytyy tarinaa ja seikkailua niin kauhusta kuin scifistäkin. Sekä jopa pari pientä runoelmaa. Ja osaa voi kai sanoa kevyeksi supernaturalismiksikin. Osa on hyviä, osa parempia ja osa enemmän tai vähemmän outoja. Tämä kokoelma pitää sisällään sen ahdistavimman novellin ikinä - Isoäiti/Granny. Hyi että se edelleen saa minut värisemään ja ahdistumaan. Toimii yhtä hirveän hyvin niin suomeksi kuin englanniksikin.
