Now, Ash has to track down the witch who turned her clocking out attempt into the worst gift imaginable: immortality. Turns out, the witch responsible is another sixteen-year-old-girl named (get this) Liv. The two vow to undo the charm together and fight for Ash’s death…even as things get increasingly entangled with a strange new antidepressant called Somnia and her mum’s gross boyfriend, Greg (ughh).

Ash haluaa kuolla. Hän on masentunut ja elämä tuntuu muutenkin olevan aika pepusta. Avittaakseen kuolemaansa hän tilaa netistä tikarin, sillä hän aikoo kuolla lävistämällä itsensä teräaseella. Aivan kuten hänen ihailemansa muusikko. Ongelma vain on siinä, että tikari ei toimi. Ash ei kuole, vaan hän paranee. Oikeastaan kaikki hänen haavansa paranevat. Voisiko Ash olla kirottu kuolemattomaksi? Tyttö alkaa selvittää tapausta ottamalla yhteyttä tikarin myyneeseen harrastelijanoitaan. Yhdessä kaksikko jatkaa tutkimuksia, sillä tapaus ei ole aivan yksinkertaisin... Mukaan mahtuu lisää noitia, ystävyyttä ja äidin inhottava miesystävä.

Vakavia aiheita. Itsemurhan suunnittelua, masennusta, perhesuhteita ja ystävyyttä. Ei todella kepeimmästä päästä. Silti tarinaan ollaan saatu mukaan myös huumoria ja hauskuutta. Juoni on ihan kelvollinen ja viihdyttävä. Vaikuttaa, että mikään ei lopulta ole liian kamalaa.

Kuvitus on rentoa ja "kepeää". Värejä on käytetty niukasti ja niillä luodaan hyvin tunnelmaa.
