Tumma ja synkkä kuvitus jatkuu. Välistä hahmoja on vaikea erottaa toisistaan. Etenkin kun mukana on monia sellaisia, jotka vain vilahtavat hetken tarinassa. En muutenkaan pidä ihmisten ulkonäöistä tässä sarjakuvassa.
Vaikken olekaan kuvituksen suurin fani, pidän tällä kertaa tarinasta. Se kattaa useita vuosia, mutta toimii silti kohtalaisen hyvin. Vuorossa on nimittäin ajanjakso, jolloin Roland tovereineen aloitti etsimään Mustaa tornia ja koetti samalla taistella John Farsonia vastaan. Ajanjakso, joka päättyi Jericho Hillin taisteluun. Taisteluun, johon vain viitattiin kirjoissa. Viimeinkin tähän sai lisätietoa.
Synkkä. Melko raaka. Tumma.
