Minun mielestäni Nioben tarina on jokseenkin sekava. Lukija heitetään keskelle tapahtumia, eikä maailmasta ja sen järjestyksestä tahdo saada selvää. Ei, vaikka aina väliin onkin laitettu pieniä selityksiä "Muukalaiselle". Myös tarinan juoni on vähän epämääräisen oloinen. Ihmiset kiukkuilevat toisilleen ja sitten kuitenkin äkkiä hyväksyvät toisensa. Paikoitellen juonessa on myös todella ennalta-arvattavia piirteitä.
Kuvitus on sekoitus lapsenomaista ja tarkkaa. Värit ovat ihan nätit.
Kokonaisuus on mukavahkoa pientä fantasiaa.
