Näiden Firefly-sarjakuvien yleinen ongelma iskee jälleen… Tapahtumien sijoittaminen sarjaan on hyvin hankalaa… Selvästi nämä tapahtuvat sen yhden kauden jälkeen, mutta sitten on Serenity-elokuva… Ovatko nämä ennen vai jälkeen sen? Jos ennen, niin miten pitkällä aikavälillä? Jos jälkeen, niin sitten on jotain pahasti pielessä…
Blue Sun Rising alkaa toiminnallisesti. Ehkä jopa hieman liiankin kanssa. Lukija paiskataan keskelle tapahtumia, eikä heti kerrota sitä, miten nykyisiin tilanteisiin ollaan päädytty. Vasta vähitellen annetaan vinkkejä siitä, mitä on tapahtunut. Tapahtumissa hypitään, mutta mukana kestää kuitenkin ihan mukavasti. Eniten minua “häiritsi” piirtäjän vaihtelu. Tyylit ovat aika kaukana toisistaan.
