Tällä kertaa Aakkosdekkarissa tavataan muutama vanha tuttu, jotka eivät tee Kinseyn elämää yhtään yksinkertaisemmaksi. Etenkin, kun melkoinen joukko uusia tuttavuuksia on sotkemassa hänen elämänsä yksinkertaista rauhaa. Mukava kun Henry, William ja Ed-kissa erityisesti hurmaavat läsnäolollaan. Heistä jokainen antaa oman mausteensa soppaan, joka etenee hitaasti, mutta tulee vaikuttamaan Kinseyn elämään melkoisesti.

Kaksi kuollutta miestä, kumpainenkin omien ja varsin erilaisten ongelmien tuojana. Onneksi Kinsey on kärsivällinen ja maltillinen ja etenee määrätietoisesti eteenpäin. Lisäksi näyttää, että tähdet ovat hänen kannaltaan varsin otollisessa asemassa…
