Tartuin tähän sarjakuvaan kahdesta syystä. Ensimmäinen on se, että pidän Lemiren kirjoittamista tarinoista. Toinen on se, että ilmeisesti tästä sarjakuvasta on tehty Netflix-sarja. En kylläkään ole sarjaa katsonut, mutta ehkä sitä voisi…

Maailmassa on tapahtunut jotain. Ihmisiä kuolee ja osa lapsista syntyy osittain eläiminä. Nuori Gus on kasvanut koko ikänsä metsässä ja nähnyt vain isänsä. Äitiään hän ei edes muista. Sitten isäkin kuolee ja Gus jää yksin. Kunnes hän törmää kahteen metsästäjään, jotka haluavat palasensa hänestä. Mutta metsästäjille käy jännästi, kun paikalle saapuu Jepperd, joka lupaa viedä Gusin eräänlaiseen turvapaikkaan. Matka ei tietenkään ole täysin turvallinen ja ongelmaton ja Gusin ja Jepperdin välejä on kiinnostava seurata. Mutta millainen onkaan tämä turvapaikka? Sitä joutuu odottamaan seuraavaan osaan.
