Adventureman on hieman erilainen supersankarisarjakuva. Itse olin aluksi hämmentynyt, kun tuntui siltä, että tipahdin tarinaan keskeltä mukaan. Onneksi tämä tunne selittyy sarjakuvan edetessä.
Claire on kiinnostava päähenkilö. Hän on lämmin ja realistinen. Nainen jolla on unelmia ja mitä eriskummallisin perhe. Perhe on täynnä loistavia sivuhenkilöitä. Heistä löytyy huumoria. Sarjan “supersankarit” ovat melko sekalainen joukko. He ovat mukana varsin vähän, mutta onneksi heitä esitellään hieman sarjakuvan lopussa. Sama homma pätee sarjan “pahiksiin”. Heissä onkin melkoisesti tekemistä… ja käsittämistä…
Räjähtävän ja yllättävän alun jälkeen sarjakuva keskittyy lämmittämään ja pohjustamaan tulevia tapahtumia. Uusi sankari on syntymässä! Jatkoa jään kovasti odottelemaan.
Sarjakuvan tyyli on pirteä ja eloisa. Sitä on hauska katsella. Se on kiva sekoitus “mangamaisuutta” ja länsimaista sarjakuvaa. Henkilöhahmot ovat persoonallisesti toteutettuja.
