After the Fall on todella kauniisti kuvitettu sarjakuva. Ihmiset ja maisemat ovat upeita ja mielikuvituksellisia. Paikoitellen kuvitus on raaka ja siinä on muutenkin aika paljon paljasta pintaa, joten ei herkille tai kaunosieluisille.

Tämän sarjakuvan “heikkous” on sen juonessa. Tuhon jälkeinen maailma vaikuttaa kiinnostavalta ja elävältä. Heimosodat uskottavilta. Mutta. Sitten ovat muutamat asiat, jotka ovat hieman epäuskottavia tai epäselviä. Yksi näistä on aikajana. Minulle jäi jokseenkin epäselväksi se, miten kauas nuori sankaritar päätyy ennen kuin pääsee lähtemään kohti omaa heimoaan. Sitten ovat enemmän tai vähemmän suuret epäselvyydet hahmojen menneisyyksien kanssa. Ja syyt ja seuraukset, joista en ala tässä enempää puhumaan. Juoni paljastuisi liikaa. Sanotaan nyt vain niin, että yllätyksiä on luvassa. Enemmänkin.

Kokonaisuudessa ihan kiva dystopia.
