Trees on erikoisen oloinen sarjakuva. Se kertoo maailmasta, johon on laskeutunut “Puita” avaruudesta. Näitä Puita on useampia ympäri maailmaa ja ne jotenkin vaikuttavat lähiympäristöönsä. Miten, sitä eivät ihmiset ole täysin ymmärtäneet. Nämä hiljaiset seuralaiset ovat olleet paikallaan jo kymmenisen vuotta. Mutta jatkuuko hiljaiselo? Sarjakuvassa seurataan tapahtumia muutaman eri henkilön kautta. He kaikki elävät Puun läheisyydessä. Muutamat arktisella tutkimusasemalla, toiset taas lämpimämmillä vyöhykkeillä. Tapahtumat etenevät tasaista vauhtia. Kutakin Puuta (ja ihmisiä) seurataan tasaisesti. Jokaisessa paikassa on jotain kiinnostavaa. Maailmasta kerrotaan hieman, kaikkea ei selitellä. Henkilöhahmot ovat mukavan erilaisia ja heidän tarinansa mielenkiintoisia. Kuvitus on minusta hyvää jälkeä. Se on kaunista ja elävää. Yksityiskohtia on kivasti. Lopussa sarjakuva menee hivenen raa’aksi, joten en suosittele herkille.
