Pitkästä aikaa paluuta Westerosiin. Joskin aikalailla menneisyyteen. Tässä on kyseessä eräänlainen muistelu ja kapina juttu. Egg, vaikka onkin "aseenkantaja", ei ole kuka tahansa. Vaan aika merkittävässä asemassa valtakunnassa. Syystä tai toisesta, nuorukainen kuitenkin seuraa Dunkia, joka taas on kiertelevä ja isännätön ritari. Kaksikolla on tavoitteena löytää jonkinlainen paikka, jossa saada hieman rakaa.
