Tässä on lähes sanaton sarjakuva. Suurin osa menee kuvien ja tunnelmien kautta. Vain joissain kohdissa puhutaan ja silloinkin mahdollisimman vähän. Nämä tilanteet ovat sellaisia, joissa asian ilmaiseminen pelkästään kuvallisin keinoin olisi ollut mahdotonta.
Bix on tarina miehestä, joka on valmis uhraamaan kaiken musiikin takia. Se on yhden miehen elämäntarina lapsesta lähelle loppua. Näihin sivuihin (vuosiin) mahtuu surua, iloa, rakkautta, riemua mutta myös vakava päihdeongelma. Bix on mies, joka tavoittelee unelmaansa loppuun asti.
Kuvitus on kiintoisa ja mukaansatempaava. Se on ilmeikäs ja persoonallinen, joskin jossain vaiheessa mieshahmot muistuttivat melkoisesti toisiaan… Väritys on niukkaa: mustaa, valkeaa ja sinertäviä sävyjä. Minun silmäni lepäsi näissä sivuissa.
