Tämä sarjakuva iski ja kovasti. Olen itse kaksonen, en kuitenkaan identtinen. Silti pystyin samaistumaan todella veljesten elämään. Minun ja kaksoseni kohdalla ero ei ole yhtä selvä kuin Alecin ja Walkerin, mutta yhtäläisyyksiä on havaittavissa ja melkoisesti. Ehkä nyt tavallaan myös ymmärrän häntä paremmin…
Sarjakuvan hahmot ovat persoonallisia ja raikkaita. He ovat omia tyyppejään ja jakavat nuorten arjen ja murheet. Heissä näkyy ympäristön vaikutus. Ja he selvästi haluavat elää omaa elämäänsä, olla itsensä.
Juoni toimii. Veljekset heitetään kauas tutuista ympyröistä, mikä voi olla heille myös hyvä asia. He saavat kokeilla siipiään ja etsiä itseään. Samalla he pääsevät kokeilemaan erilaisia asioita. Ja joutuvat näkemään myös oman yhteytensä uudessa valossa.
Mielikuvitusta on käytetty hyvin, sillä Alecin tekemät kokeet ovat melkoista tiede sepustusta. Se ei haittaa, sillä tarinaa on helppo lähestyä vaikkei aivan kaikkea ymmärtäisikään. Tarina aukeaa sopivasti.
Kuvitus on toiminnallinen ja värikäs. Se on elävää ja mukavaa katseltavaa. Realistisuutta on sopivasti, mielikuvitusta ja outouksia unohtamatta. Tykkäsin.
