Stone Fruit on erikoinen. Henkilökohtaisesti en pidä sen kuvituksesta. Ihmiset näyttävät seinään juosseilta litteine kasvoineen ja välillä osa heistä "muuttuu" hirviöiksi. Värejä on käytetty äärimmäisen niukasti. Oikeastaan vain tummia sävyjä. Joissain kohdin "laveerausjälki" on kaunista. Paikoitellen sarjakuva taas on pelkkää yhtä viivaa. Minun makuuni turhan sekava.
Myös tarinaan oli minun hankala päästä käsiksi. Kaikki tuntuu alkavan suoraan keskeltä ja isosta konfliktista. Vasta myöhemmin asiat kerrotaan tarkemmin ja tapahtumat alkavat käyvän järkeen. Tämä on hyvä, sillä sarjakuva käsittelee vaikeita asioita. Esillä on mielenterveyttä useammassakin tasossa ja asiassa. Erilaisia perheyhteisöjä. Oman itsensä löytämistä ja hyväksymistä. Pari- ja sisarussuhdetta.
Kokonaisuus on kiintoisa, mutta ei välttämättä kovin kaunis katsella.
