Lemire tekee sen taas! Hän osaa kirjoittaa jännittäviä ja kiinnostavia tarinoita. Luoda innostavia ja upeita maailmoja. Tehdä päähenkilöistä erikoisia ja silti samaistuttavia. Ja koukuttaa lukijan.
Snow Angels on niukasti väritetty sarjakuva. Se johtuu siitä, että maailma on jäätä ja lunta. Luvassa on siis paljon valkoista. Mutta myös "tummaa". Sillä maailma vaikuttaa mustavalkoiselta kuitenkaan olematta sitä. Väriä kyllä on, mutta ei aina sellaista kuin mitä odottaisi. Tämä maailma on nimittäin omalla tavallaan herkkä ja julma. Raaka. Kuvituksen ja tarinan puoleen en suosittele herkille.
Maailma jossa Milliken sisarineen kasvaa, on karu. Heidän isänsä on pitänyt itsellään monia salaisuuksia, jotka alkavat yllättäen paljastumaan. Ne ovat omiaan murtamaan nuorten tyttöjen maailmankuvan, mutta eivät oikein jätä heille mahdollisuutta epäillä tai pohtia. Heidän on vain toimittava. Onneksi nämä tytöt ovat aika erikoislaatuisia. Milliken selvästi kunnon poikatyttö ja hänen sisarensa Mae Mae taas jotain... mistä ei aivan ota vielä selvää.
