Graftonin aakkosdekkareissa on sitä jotain rauhallisen viehättävää. Pidän siitä, miten tarina kehkeytyy hitaasti ja iskee sitten suoraan ytimeen. Tutkimuksille annetaan riittävästi aikaa ja silti lukija pääsee yllättymään useampaankin otteeseen. Lisäksi nautitaan sopivassa suhteessa hyvästä ruuasta ja juomasta. Näin myös tälläkin kertaa.

Nyt Kinseyllä on käsissään parikin juttua. Ei varsinaisia työtehtäviä, enemmänkin oman mielenkiinnon mukaan. Yksi vie häntä rikkaiden seurapiirimaailmaan ja huijauksen kiemuroihin. Toinen taas on “perintöä” Wolinskyltä, eikä ollenkaan niin yksinkertainen kuin mitä kuvitella saattaisi. Kolmas menee kuivan kelin ja naapureiden piikkiin… Tapaukset limittyvät mukavasti toisiinsa ja soljuvat hyvin eteenpäin.

Kokonaisuus on mukava ja rattoisa. Hyvää viihdettä rauhallisemman jännityksen ystäville.
